So, yeah, we need more time to be ourselves, so another gadget is going to free us.  This journalist sighs at the issue, we are over worked, over burdened, and we don't enjoy ourselves.  Another product is not what we need.  We need a new social construct, or at least a lot more money and the time and headspace to spend it.  A bit more justice? That seems a bit too whimsical.  I don't think it needs to be that complicated.  Let the government start an app that tracks how much work we do.  And then limit our work to 35 hours a week.  Let's see it.  We can do it.  What would be the results?
