So I heard these birds are currently in Austin. We don't see them normally, but now isn't a normal time. Many people are staying at home to avoid getting sick during the pandemic. And so certain wildlife has returned, including the crested carcara, which I'd never heard of before.
It is a raptor, and it looks quite unique.
It has the call of video game lobster hands.
I like it a lot.
