So there was a housing shortage, so they built big apartment blocks in the desert. Looks like South Korea a bit, but yeah they forgot to add community space like parks and places for shops. Markets have moved in but they look like tarps covering parking lots. People have really long commutes. It looks like... a disaster, or maybe a couple of disasters
So they didn't even build enough of them? Would more shitty buildings far from actual city life make a housing crisis better, or make commutes worse?
Well anyway, check out the photos. It looks pretty bleak, but kind of neat.
